Square Art 2011 Winner Revealed
JP Glas from Arnold KLP has won Square Art 2011, the annual art competition open to anyone that works in advertising.

The winning entry “No 57” was picked by the judges from the 55 submitted entries.

Second place went to Simon Riley with his entry “Girl Against Green”. Third place was taken by David McNulty from London Particular with “Mayday”.

Golden Square Post and Disqo challenged members of the advertising industry to create stimulating and imaginative pieces of work for its annual Square Art competition and exhibition.

For the first time ever, the theme was no theme, or “Blank Canvas”. The aim was to stimulate the imagination, and it was up to entrants to interpret the brief how they wished.

This years judges included renowned White Cube artist Harland Miller, Campaign Editor Claire Beale, Director of The Saatchi Gallery Philippa Adams, Creative Director at Mother, Mark Waites and Danny Edwards of Shots Magazine alongside Eliza Williams from Creative Review.

The competition, which has been running for eight years, was open to anyone who works in advertising. Entries were received from amongst others people working at Partizan, WCRS, Exposure USA, Red Brick Rd, RSA, Another Film C
